Meghan Presson ’14

Marymount alumna Meghan Presson ’14 has joined the Los Angeles Kings Ice Crew. Members of the Kings Ice Crew are brand ambassadors that interact with the LA Kings organization at games, events and throughout the community.

Presson received her Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies in spring 2014. Among her favorite memories during her time at Marymount was the semester that she had the opportunity to study abroad in London. She also gives credit to professors Carlos Royal and Bruce Schwartz for making her college experience a great one.

Today, Presson works primarily around fans, ensuring they have the best experience at games, on-ice skating during media timeouts and making appearances in the community with emphasis on mobile marketing, fan development and non-profit events. “I grew up watching the Kings and have been a fan since I was five-years-old. I played hockey for more than 10 years and I am very passionate about hockey, the Kings and sports in general.”

Presson says the Kings organization is a perfect fit for her and her plans for the future, which include continuing to make great connections with LA Kings organization and developing a successful career in the entertainment/sports industry. When asked what advice she would give to current Marymount students, Presson says to never give up.  “Graduate! All your hard work will be worth it — and always be the best version of yourself that you can be.”
