RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Marymount California University was ranked 15th among Regional Colleges West by U.S. News & World Report on its list of 2019 “Best Colleges”. The university’s ranking has improved three positions since it was first ranked two years ago.

We’re happy to see that reflected in this year’s ranking and we hope to climb even higher in the years to come.”

U.S. News & World Report releases its rankings of colleges and universities annually. These rankings are based on 16 measures of academic quality and emphasize the strength of faculty and student outcomes such as first-year student retention and graduation rates. According to the publisher, schools are grouped by academic mission into 10 categories for 10 distinct rankings.
