Marymount California University challenges students to pursue lives of leadership and service. The spirit of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary guides the University to cultivate integrity, respect for human dignity and commitment to justice as a Catholic institution. Marymount offers Associate degrees; Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business, Criminal Justice, Film and Media Production, Liberal Arts including areas of emphasis such as Biology and Human Performance, and Psychology; Master of Science degrees in Community Psychology, and in Leadership and Global Development; and a Master of Business Administration. The University’s student athletes compete in the California Pacific Conference within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in the following sports: soccer, baseball, softball, golf, cross country and track.
Marymount California University has three distinct campuses, each offering a unique set of learning opportunities.
Currently, first- and second-year students take core courses at our suburban Oceanview Campus. Upper division and graduate courses take place at our urban Waterfront Campus. Additional programs, service work and research opportunities are in development at our rural Lakeside Campus in Northern California.
