Marymount California University challenges students of all backgrounds and ages to pursue lives of leadership and service. With its Oceanview, Waterfront, and Lakeside campuses, the University offers a distinctive range of experiences along the Los Angeles County coastline in Palos Verdes, in downtown San Pedro, and in rural Northern California. The spirit of its founding order, the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, guides the University to cultivate integrity, respect for human dignity and commitment to justice as a Catholic institution. Marymount offers Associate degrees; Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business, Liberal Arts, Media Studies and Psychology; Master of Science degrees in Community Psychology and in Leadership and Global Development; and a Master of Business Administration.

Welcome to Marymount California

Marymount California University has three distinct campuses, each offering a unique set of learning opportunities.

  • Los Angeles County
    • Oceanview Campus, Palos Verdes
    • Waterfront Campus, San Pedro
  • Lake County
    • Lakeside Campus, Lucerne

Currently, first- and second-year students take core courses at our suburban Oceanview Campus. Upper division and graduate courses take place at our urban Waterfront Campus. Additional programs, service work and research opportunities are in development at our rural Lakeside Campus in Northern California.
