As an undergraduate, you can be a part of something amazing. We call it the Marymount experience––Classes that are comfortable, not crowded, with an average student to instructor ratio of 18:1; a learning environment that is state of the art, with "real world" professors who are truly invested in your education; and a University that values sports and recreation as an essential part of collegiate life, with plentiful opportunities for both. All this, plus three diverse campuses––One with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island; another just steps away from one of the world's busiest ports––the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro; and a third in the picturesque rural community of Lake County. If your goal is to be involved in your campus community on a personal level and not be just a face in the crowd, Marymount may be just what you’re looking for.
Marymount California University offers Bachelor’s degree programs in Business, Media Studies, Psychology and Liberal Arts.
For years, we have offered our students countless co-curricular opportunities that help develop character and life skills, analytical ability and diverse perspectives outside the classroom. Moving beyond the personalized academic skill building, counseling and mentoring that are a part of every Marymount student’s experience, these opportunities include global travel to places like England, China and Cuba, volunteerism in many community-based organizations and career-inspiring internships. We require our students to participate in the world around them so they gain valuable experience for life in the real world. As a Catholic institution of higher learning, students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcomed into a quality, values-based education. In the spirit of our founders, the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, we challenge our students to pursue lives of leadership and service.

This allows for dynamic classroom communities, which are focused on helping students apply core educational concepts to the real world in a meaningful way. The Office of Service Learning also assists clubs and individual students desiring to connect to local service agencies to pursue volunteer work.
Our curriculum emphasizes a logical progression of learning, supported by experiential service learning, and supplemented by a broad choice of leadership, wellness, service, intercultural, and spiritual opportunities.
All Marymount California University undergraduates complete the University's liberal education requirements.
