Education Services and Reference Librarian

Reporting to the Director of Library Services, The Education Services and Reference Librarian (ESRL) collaboratively plans, develops, implements, and continually improves the Library's suite of instructional and educational services. The ESRL supports student learning across disciplines by working with faculty/staff to facilitate the use of curriculum-specific information resources, provides access to course-related online materials in course management systems or other online environments, and develops and delivers digital learning objects that address information literacy (IL) needs. The ESRL works collaboratively with members of the Library Team and staff from other campus units to support the recruitment, retention, and outreach goals of the university, through appropriate Library-related programs and services.

The Director of Library Services is the chief administrative officer of the Marymount Library. This position is directly responsible for the operations of the library and for planning, developing, implementing and assessing library services across all MCU sites and modalities. The Director works closely with other academic departments to ensure access to quality library, information literacy, and research support services across the university’s programs and sites. 

Student Information Systems Administrator

Marymount California University seeks a Student Information Systems Administrator. Under general direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the Student Information Systems (SIS) Administrator evaluates, analyzes, designs, and maintains the University’s SIS (CAMS Enterprise) and other associated computer systems and applications that are used to support student records, reports, student financial services and enrollment services functions such as Great Plains and Hobsons/Radius. 

Dean of Students

MCU seeks a Dean of Students to provide strategic, mission-centric leadership for the Student Development Services division.  The Dean reports directly to the President and will work closely with the President and the President’s Cabinet on university-wide student development policy and MCU’s Catholic Mission and Identity. As a member of Provost’s Council, the Dean will work with the Provost to ensure close collaboration across the University in advancing our Catholic learning communities in the South Bay. The Dean will also serve in an advisory position to staff members serving extended learning environments (online, extension campuses, graduate). 

Director of Financial Aid

Under general direction of the Dean of Admission and Enrollment Services, this position is responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating a comprehensive and customer-oriented financial aid delivery system.  The Director administers the university’s comprehensive financial aid program, supervises the financial aid staff and provides leadership in developing strategies that respond to enrollment and retention issues. Working within an enrollment management model, the Director of Financial Aid collaborates with colleagues to improve the utilization of technology in delivering financial aid, drives internal research to maximize the utilization of institutional merit and need-based aid resources, and provides campus leadership and external visibility on behalf of the enrollment division.

Financial Aid Counselor

The Financial Aid Counselor (FAC) supports the Assistant Director and Director of Financial Aid in the successful analysis, awarding, verification and disbursement of financial aid. The FAC is responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of financial aid from the beginning to the process through to final yearly disbursement. In addition, the FAC will serve as the primary outreach agent for financial aid and will also advise on admissions requirements as needed.
