All requests for transcripts must be submitted in writing. Per the Family Educational Right to Privacy Act (FERPA), we need to have your signature giving us permission to release a copy of your educational records. We do not accept requests for transcripts over the telephone or by email.
We are happy to accept transcript requests online via the link below or by mail at 30800 Palos Verdes Dr. East, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275-6299, Attn: Registrar’s Office.
A student may request transcripts by completing a written application. Official copies are $10 each (unofficial copies are $5 each). The fee for same-day service is $25 (official or unofficial). The fee to send a transcript via FedEx is $40 each. The fee should accompany the written request. Transcripts cannot be released without the student’s signature and until all fees to the University have been paid and all holds are cleared.
*END OF SEMESTER NOTE: Transcripts reflecting final Fall 2015 grades will not be processed until January 4, 2016 due to the winter break. Students may print unofficial transcripts from their Student Portal showing Fall 2015 grades beginning December 21, 2015, provided there are no transcript holds on the account. The University will be closed December 24, 2015 through January 3, 2016. Transcripts will not be processed during that time.
Unofficial transcripts of currently or recently enrolled students may be viewed on and printed from the Student Portal provided there are no outstanding debts or obligations to the University. Requesting that a transcript be sent via fax or email renders the transcript unofficial. Transcripts are considered official only when printed on official transcript paper with the Registrar’s signature and embossed University seal and presented in an envelope sealed by the University.
Transcripts will be placed on hold when there is an outstanding obligation to the University. These obligations include but are not limited to an outstanding balance due the University, outstanding library or other loaned instructional materials, outstanding parking violations and incomplete sanctions imposed as a result of violations of the University’s Student Code of Conduct and Academic Integrity Policies. This hold will remain until the account balance is paid in full and/or until the obligation has been satisfied.
Ordering transcripts online is quick and easy. Marymount California University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcripts. You may use any major credit card, and your card will be charged only after your order is complete. Transcripts are processed each business day.

- The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. Order as many transcripts as you need in a single session. A $2.25 processing fee will be charged per recipient.
