As  an undergraduate, you can be a part of something amazing. We call it the Marymount experience––Classes that are comfortable, not crowded, with an average student to instructor ratio of 18:1; a learning environment that is state of the art, with “real world” professors who are truly invested in your education; and a University that values sports and recreation as an essential part of collegiate life, with plentiful opportunities for both.

Bachelor’s degree programs offer a range of electives and concentrations such as computer information systems, marketing, and human performance.

The Four-Year Scholars Pathway Track

In a first-of-its-kind opportunity at Marymount California University, students may graduate in four years and receive diplomas for both bachelors’ and masters’ degrees. The Four-Year Scholars’ Pathway Track complements the existing Five-Year Pathway option. Participating students may pursue an undergraduate degree and then in their junior year, students may begin coursework for a graduate degree in business (MBA). The total units for the Bachelors-MBA is 146 units and some summer school enrollment is necessary to complete the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in four years.

The Marymount California University graduate program was developed with the busy, working professional in mind. The flexible class schedule, including evening, weekend and online courses, means that you can reach your career goals while also balancing work and life. You can also earn your degree quickly – the 36-unit MBA is designed to be completed in just six flexibly-scheduled semesters.

Students have a choice of concentrations within the Associate degree programs to explore their options and ensure solid preparation for a major at the Bachelor’s level. The close relationship between faculty and students enables an easy and integral advising atmosphere helping students identify their academic options and select a path that supports their educational objectives.

MCU offers several online and hybrid courses within its degree programs. These can be taken remotely via our web-based Learning Management System “MyMarymount.”  Online and hybrid learning provides flexibility when it comes to scheduling and produces student success rates comparable to those in on-ground classes. Online and Hybrid sections of courses are designated with a “.OL” or “.HY” extension in Marymount’s course offering catalog.

Marymount is committed to meeting students where they are academically and supporting their learning from the time they enter the University to graduation.
