Peter Wollner ‘92
Marymount alumnus Peter Wollner attended Marymount from 1990 to 1992. After receiving his Associate of Arts in International Business, Wollner transferred to Loyola Marymount University. “Before Marymount, I did not have an idea about the future that lay ahead of me. After Marymount, I had an idea that my future would be bright and I was ready for the adventure called ‘life.’”
Wollner describes his experience at Marymount as being complete, both inside and outside of the classroom, and he gives credit to many of the faculty and staff for contributing to his success as an adult. “From the beginning of my Marymount experience, I was treated by faculty and staff as a person and not a number. I also felt as if they had a genuine interest in my education.”
One of Wollner’s favorite memories during his time as a student at Marymount was being the President of the Ski Club. Today, Wollner is a Real Estate Broker and owns his own company, New Home and Land Brokers, Inc.
When asked what advice he would give to current Marymount students, Wollner says to believe in yourself. “Marymount is the springboard that will help you jump into a personally and professionally successful future.”
