What can I do with my major? How can I land a competitive internship? What’s the best way to prep for an interview? How can I make my career take off?
Bring your questions. The Internship & Career Planning Office is ready with answers. Our team is dedicated to helping students — and MCU alumni — take their careers to new heights.
What do you want to do with the rest of your life? It’s normal to not know exactly. Or even what your next steps should be. The process of career exploration connects who you are as a person with meaningful career options that align with your interests, personality, skills and strengths. We’re here to help you figure out where you’re going and how to get you there.
Mariner Career Connect
Pursuing a career in today’s job market can be challenging—but you don’t have to do it alone. As an MCU student or one of our alums, you have access to tools, resources and a dedicated team to help make your career goals a reality. We’ll help you start your internship/job search, make your resume and cover letters shine, and polish your interviewing and networking skills.
Because MCU views internships as an essential part of learning, you can earn academic credit for an internship.
In the working world, it’s important to look the part. MCU’s Career Closet offers students gently used business attire they can keep and wear for interviews and on the job.
Interested in sharing your career experiences and professional wisdom with current MCU students? It’s a great way to help students learn life and business skills as they prepare for the future.
Students, want to learn about career paths of successful business professionals, community leaders, and alumni? Build your network? Hear advice from those who’ve been there, done that?
Our Mariner Mentoring Program is for you.
We look forward to partnering with you to help you connect to Mariner talent. Contact us to post jobs and internships, conduct interviews and information sessions, and participate in job fairs and events.
We’re here to help students with career planning and ensure they find the resources they need. Coach your students to be active participants and empower them to take responsibility for their own career exploration and decisions.
We’re still here! From pinpointing best-fit companies to exploring how to connect your major with a job, our staff will walk you through the key steps. All from our home computers.
