Marymount California University Career Services is committed to keeping you informed about the services available to students, the current job market and how you can participate in your student’s career development.

We coordinate our services in four major areas. Take a look at the student page to see how we assist students in navigating career management.

What you can do

  • Encourage your student to career plan throughout his or her time at the University.
  • Resist the urge to steer your student toward a major because it fits your interests. Generally, students are more successful in school and careers if they pursue what they enjoy.
  • Encourage your student to visit Marymount’s Career Services office.
  • Support internships, co-curricular and volunteer opportunities. Employers today seek well-rounded students. While it’s true that volunteer positions and internships may not pay well — if at all — they do provide real-world experience, which is priceless.
