Here at the Student Wellness Center, we know wellness is essential to academic success, and we are committed to enhancing your physical and emotional well-being so you can fully engage in all aspects of college life. The Student Wellness Center provides confidential counseling services and other mental health support, helping you acclimate to college, address psychological issues and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We also offer peer-to-peer outreach, wellness workshops, health updates, special programming and referral services to local providers.

Peer health educators are trained student leaders who strive to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles on campus through a variety of interactive health promotion and disease prevention programs. They serve as health advocates, developing health materials and campaigns, and facilitating presentations, tabling and campus events on health-related topics ranging from healthy sexuality to alcohol and drug abuse prevention.
