Counseling Services
Our counseling team offers free confidential psychological services for Marymount students. We can help with:
- Homesickness, depression and anxiety
- Relationship problems
- Mediation and conflict resolution
- Crisis intervention
- Problem solving and decision making
- Roommate problems
- Alcohol and drug issues
- Wellness education
- Referrals to community resources
Confidentiality
Conversations with a therapist are confidential and cannot be disclosed to anyone without your permission, with a few legal exceptions. Those exceptions are only for life-threatening emergencies and child and elder abuse. Therapy records are kept separate from all other school records and cannot be released without your consent, except under very rare legal circumstances.
