What are your plans after graduation? Your hopes for after graduation?

After graduating from MCU, I will do my OPT in the United States and receive work experience for one year. However, my goal is to go back to college and get my graduate’s degree. Afterwards, I am trying to receive the CPA and/or CFA license.

What have you been involved in while at MCU?

While being a student at MCU, I have been involved as a student-athlete in the soccer program and helped the men’s soccer team rank #3 in the nation. Also, I worked as a peer tutor in the Learning Center and helped other students in Business and English classes. I currently work for the Admission Office as a student-employee and atheltic student-ambassador, helping connect the Athletic dept. with other universities in our conference. Lastly, I am a part of the Captain Council with other student-athletes, where we focus on how we can build “the spirit” at MCU in order to connect students with student-athletes.

What is your favorite memory of MCU?

My favorite memory of MCU is hard to define. I had lots of great memories and made unforgettable experiences throughout my years at MCU. Going to the national soccer tournament three years in a row was definitely a highlight during my college career. I made great experience staying in hotels with the team and compete against other universities all over the United States.

What advice do you have for other students?

Enjoy your college life and always stay positive! It’s worth it!

What was your favorite experience at MCU?

My favorite experience at MCU was to come all the way from Germany to the United States and get to know people from different cultures and backgrounds. I am glad that Marymount gave me the opportunity to play soccer for the school and that I was able to experience life as a student-athlete at an American university.

Your favorite faculty member and your favorite class at MCU?

Regarding my classes, I really enjoyed the classes towards my Accounting & Finance concentration. Corporate Finance, Intermediate Accounting, Taxation, and Portfolio Investment are just a few examples that I really enjoyed taking at MCU. For my favorite faculty member, it is hard to say because I was able to keep up a good relationship with all of them.
