During graduation season, MCU is pleased to shine a light on a few of our students who are members of the Class of 2020.  Students who are candidates for graduation are showcased on a weekly basis leading up to the May commencement ceremony. 

What is your major?
Business with Marketing concentration, Minor in Criminal Justice

What are your plans after graduation? Your hopes for after graduation?
To travel

What have you been involved in while at MCU?
Played on MCU’s women’s soccer team and served as a peer tutor

What is your favorite memory of MCU?
Being able to play soccer and hang out with my best friend, Emily Atkinson!

What advice do you have for other students?
Do your homework and don’t be afraid to talk to your professors

What was your favorite experience at MCU?
Making memories with new friends

What was your favorite class at MCU and why?
I liked Dr. Kossi’s Perspectives on Global Development class because it greatly interested me as well as challenged me. I thoroughly enjoyed researching different countries and examining their GDP’s.

The use of Excel in this course has made me very comfortable in using Excel for other classes, as well.

Who inspired you at MCU and why?
Professor Lynn Marsh. She is very inspiring and encouraged me to research industries that I would love to work in and not to settle for a job that I do not enjoy.
