Grad of the Week: Robert C. Lopez

MCU is pleased to shine a light on a few of our students who are members of the Class of 2021 and are candidates for graduation for Fall 2020.

What is your degree?
Master of Business Administration

What are your plans and hopes for after graduation?
I hope to get my Doctorate in Public Administration and work for a public agency to inspire others. I got accepted to CBU for the DPA Program. My short term goal is to run for city council. My long term goal is to start a business and work for the city manager.

What have you been involved in while at MCU?
I’ve been involved in Cross Country and Track and Field.

What is your favorite memory of MCU?
Going to Cal Pac competition for Cross Country.

What advice do you have for other students?
Stay focus and committed to what you set your mind on.

What was your favorite experience at MCU?
Being able to go to events at the Villas and meeting other students from different grade levels.

What was your favorite class at MCU?
My favorite class is my current class, Accounting and Finance for Managers. It is my favorite class because of the way Professor Marsh teaches. She is great and shows us how the content is very useful for our future.

Who inspired you at MCU and why?
I was inspired by Professor Dr. Kossi because of his passion and commitment to his students and teaching.
