Get to know MCU senior and Grad of the Week, Alyssa Rodriguez.
Why did you choose to attend MCU?
Ultimately, I decided to attend MCU because it provided all I looked for in a university, which proved this was the right place for me. I felt very welcomed when I first toured campus and know that I would grow as a student, but especially as an individual. Also, attending a Catholic-based university was so important to me because I wanted to feel comfortable practicing my faith.
What was your favorite experience at MCU?
My favorite experience was helping organize the Spring Carnival / Silent Disco during my sophomore year. Creating this event and starting a tradition with a supportive team was a great learning experience.
What is your favorite class at MCU?
I have two favorite classes: Positive Psychology and Criminal Investigations. These classes helped me gain the tools I need to succeed in my future career.
Best of luck to you, Alyssa! Please stay in touch.
