Albert Vasquez, Ed.D., is a Criminal Justice professor and Senior Program Advisor for Marymount California University. Vasquez has more than 30 years of progressively responsible experience in law enforcement including an extensive record of achievement and demonstrated leadership as a police chief, administrator, manager, supervisor, trainer, and program manager, including overseas experience with the US Department of Justice-International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (US DOJICITAP)and the United Nations International Police Task Force (UN-IPTF) working in culturally-rich and diverse populations in multiple countries on three continents. Vasquez currently serves the dual role of police chief and assistant vice chancellor for campus and public safety at the University of California, Merced.
