Duncan Earle, Ph.D.

Professor, Global Studies


Dr. Duncan Earle teaches at Marymount California University. His focus is global development, rural community livelihoods, resilient culture and sustainability. He brings a wealth of experience, publications, and stories from his work in US border regions, Mexico, Guatemala, and Africa to his classes. He teaches Global Development, Human Migration, Latin America and the Latino Experience,   Anthropology, and Management for Sustainability.  His students are currently involved in applied sustainability research with the Port of LA, as well as with a global carbon offset initiative (Jadora.com) to support large scale rainforest preservation and sustainable community development in the Congo Basin.
